Joining the Mid-Michigan Red Cross
Monday, October 20th, 2008A while back we held a contest for Michigan non-profit organizations to acquire our services, pro-bono. The winner of that contest was the Mid-Michigan Food Bank, which had recently undergone a name change and was looking to expand their use of the web as a marketing and communications tool.
To my surprise, I was recently invited to participate in a committee meeting for the Food Bank’s parent organization, the Mid-Michigan Red Cross. It was a great opportunity to learn more about that wonderful organization, and when the meeting ended I was offered a spot on the Communications Committee. This is a great honor indeed, and I hope I can use my skills to assist the organization and everyone who benefits from their services in Mid-Michigan.
